How to make car shampoo at home

You can make car shampoo for contactless washing with your own hands. The financial situation of the population determines the number of car washes in cities. From time to time, some car owners find this maintenance expensive; they choose car shampoo to clean their car manually. Any car owner often uses car cosmetics, among which car shampoo has become one of the popular products.

Using a high-quality composition makes it possible to give the car a new look; it is easy to clean the body, optics, bumpers and glass from dust and dirt, which spoil the appearance of the car and affect driving safety.

Features of car shampoos

The use of chemistry that is not suitable for washing conditions or of poor quality often leads to negative effects, which are:

  • The presence of stains and stripes on the paint surface.
  • Poorly washed dirt and stains.
  • Cloudiness of body paint and glazing.

Also, incorrectly chosen cosmetics for a car can lead to the most serious consequences - defects in the body paint surface. Many car owners, knowing that the car store will offer them an ineffective product for a large sum, often use different recipes to prepare car shampoo themselves. But, before you start looking at detergent chemical recipes and methods for making them, you need to better understand all the intricacies of car washing using the latest technological techniques and the latest car cosmetics.

How to make your own car shampoo

Homemade shampoos are suitable for hand washing, but you need to understand that the characteristics of such formulations will be slightly worse, so periodically it is still worth seeking the services of specialists.

There are many recipes for similar car shampoos. But, one of them is good value for money. It is prepared in the following proportions:

  • 49% regular tap water.
  • 12% alkali (the most accessible and inexpensive option is caustic soda). 1 kg costs no more than 80 rubles.
  • 14% HEDP (this is oxyethylidene diphosphoric acid, which can be purchased at the market or industrial enterprise). It costs about 180 rubles per kg.
  • 10% sodium cumene sulfonate. 65 rubles per 1 kg.
  • 2% isopropyl alcohol.
  • 13% surfactants (the best option is the AC-1 mixture, which can be found over the counter). 1 kg is about 190 rubles.

Mix the components in the same sequence (first add alkali to the water, then HEDP and so on). After each new “ingredient” you need to mix the composition thoroughly. It’s even better if you have a mechanical mixer at hand. When everything is ready, the mixture cannot be immediately applied to the car. This is a concentrate that needs to be diluted with water in equal proportions.

Of course, you can get all the components to make your own car shampoo, but this can take a lot of time. Therefore, everyone decides for themselves what suits them best.

Vehicle washing technology

Currently, owners of personal cars have two ways to return their car to normal condition after traveling on domestic off-road roads or driving in rainy weather:

  • Using available cleaning chemicals, wash the car yourself.
  • Go to a commercial car wash.

The first method is often used with a simple soap solution. Many car owners believe that the composition of factory industrial chemicals contains simple soap, with the addition of fragrances that give the cosmetics a smell, increasing its cost to the level of well-known companies.

To wash your car, the use of branded compounds is required. Their composition, viscosity and properties combine well and make it possible to:

Cause minimal damage to the paint surface and exposed metal and plastic parts.

Recipe 4 - using improvised means

Domestic cars, like our tanks, are not afraid of dirt. However, vigilant traffic police officers will not miss the opportunity to talk with the owner of the “dirty one.”

Road users also look disapprovingly at an unwashed car.

Given these and similar circumstances, it is advisable for the driver to have a suitable detergent in the glove compartment or trunk.

. Some car owners use ordinary hair shampoo to quickly wash their car. They choose and buy a cheap product that brings quite acceptable results. The main thing is that there is no need to add any additional ingredients to the shampoo, as “sophisticated specialists” advise.

Another ready-made product that is used instead of car shampoo, even in commercial car washes, is liquid laundry soap.

With its help, even bitumen stains on the paintwork of a vehicle are removed. For Lada, a 500 ml bottle is enough for two washes. Soap is diluted with water in the same proportions as shampoo from the store. Retail chains offer to buy a 5-liter canister, and then there will be enough soap for the entire warm season.

Features of factory car cosmetics

The features of such shampoos include:

  • Availability of shampoos of different recipes and consistencies.
  • A wide range of packaging, from aerosols to large canisters.
  • The ability to remove serious contaminants, bitumen tar, oil stains, and dirt that simple cleaning products cannot cope with.
  • Abundant foaming.

Based on the first sign, car shampoos can be divided into:

  • Liquid solutions, usually called car shampoos.
  • In the form of a paste that is applied directly to the surface or dissolved in water.
  • Powder, dissolving in large quantities of water.

Liquid formulations are divided:

  • For contactless washing, used to wash a car with a high-pressure water jet through a special nozzle.
  • For contact washing, used for washing vehicles manually with a rag or sponge.

Currently, nozzles are being produced that serve for contactless car washing; the design, shape and number of nozzles that contribute to large foam formation can be different.

Types of funds

On the market or in an auto store you can find products presented in the following form:

  1. Powder. Requires dilution in water.
  2. Paste. Diluted in less water than powder.
  3. Liquid mixture. It is usually used at the rate of 30-50 grams per bucket of water.

All the products that you can buy or make with your own hands can be divided into:

  • compositions for contactless washing;
  • means for hand washing.

Car shampoos for manual car washing

If you are going to make shampoo according to a recipe, this involves using it in a domestic environment. After making this mixture, you can wash your car with a bucket of water and a sponge.

You can achieve a large amount of foam by using special attachments for whipping the composition.

Homemade car shampoo

Usually, a car owner is faced with a problem when he needs to give his car a normal look, but there is no good shampoo for the car. In such a situation, you can make a remedy from scrap materials. The recipe for a homemade detergent is quite simple, and its components include active chemicals:

  • Anti-corrosion additives.
  • Foaming agents that increase the quality and speed of washing and removing dirt.
  • Complexing agents that reduce water hardness and improve the fluidity of the washing solution.
  • Synthetic components - ethylene, propylene, petroleum substances.
  • Natural ingredients – fish oil, non-edible oil, wax.

To make a car shampoo that is not inferior to the factory recipe, a few polishing components and fragrances are usually added to it. The main influence on the quality of homemade shampoo is exerted by surface active substances, which make up the bulk of the composition, as well as the pH value equal to pH = 7.

In special cases, low-alkaline surface active elements can be used. It is these elements that have the main effect on the efficiency and quality of dirt removal. Their content in the prepared composition is in the range of 5 – 30%. For car shampoo made at home, you can select different types of fatty alcohols offered for sale in household chemicals departments.

The recipe for individual elements is determined independently, by error and trial. After mixing the ingredients discussed, a car shampoo is formed, which is used for various types of vehicle washing. If you wash by hand with a sponge, the solution is applied to the contaminated areas with a sponge, and when washing using the non-contact method, it is poured into a special container.

The nuances of making it yourself

Sometimes motorists have questions about what they can use to wash their car if they don’t have car shampoo. Here you can go to the store and buy a new one, or make it yourself.

It is quite possible to make homemade products. This will allow you to save a lot on the purchase of branded auto chemicals, and at the same time check how much different professional cosmetics differ from those created with your own hands. But here it is better not to experiment by adding different components, but to follow the instructions and recommendations. You should not use certain components just because they foam great or smell great. Be aware of the potential threat to bodywork and paint from chemicals that are not intended to come into contact with the varnish or paint.

The simplest and in many ways correct solution would be to repeat the factory recipe. These are not secret formulas or patented compositions, so everything you need is written on the packaging. You just need to take a container from an old shampoo that you were happy with.

In this sense, it would be correct to buy good auto chemicals from a trusted manufacturer, use them, and then repeat the recipe based on the composition indicated on the label. To make the product, you need:

  • carefully study the official composition of the manufacturer;
  • cross off various chemicals from the list that are practically impossible to find in the public domain on the market;
  • make a list of components that can actually be found and purchased;
  • buy the simplest hair shampoo;
  • add car shampoo ingredients to it.

This is the simplest DIY car shampoo recipe. This way you get an excellent product that is suitable for contact and contactless washing. It is inexpensive and safe, that is, there is no risk of damage to the paint layer with such a recipe. It takes a few minutes to produce auto chemicals, but at the end you get excellent thick foam with excellent cleaning characteristics.

But it is also possible to create a drug from scratch. Here the approach will be more thorough, since it will be necessary to collect a larger number of ingredients and understand the composition in more detail.

There are 5 basic categories of ingredients. Each of them has a certain choice. This allows you to select the optimal composition from those products that will be at hand or will be extremely easy to find.

  1. The basis. To start, choose a natural base. You can use vegetable oils, wax, fish or animal fat as it. A basic component that, when adding other ingredients, allows you to get a good and easy-to-use shampoo.
  2. Synthetic element. Here they usually choose between ethylene, paraffins and propylene.
  3. Components necessary to reduce water hardness and increase the fluidity of the finished product.
  4. Educators. They help make the foam better and richer, as well as speed up the destruction and subsequent removal of contaminants.
  5. Anti-corrosion additives.

If you want to bring your homemade shampoo as close as possible to factory standards, in addition to the specified substances, you will also need to add components with polishing and flavoring effects.

It is difficult to name the ideal proportions and ratio of components. Here you need to build on the specific ingredients chosen, try different combinations, sometimes make mistakes and change the recipe.

But in the end, you should get an excellent car shampoo, in no way inferior to factory-made analogues, which are sold for considerable money.

Objectively, making car shampoo based on regular hair shampoo is much simpler and easier. But for some, recreating a factory recipe is of increased interest. A person is curious whether he can replicate a composition with his own hands that will resemble branded cosmetics and not be inferior to it in terms of cleaning and protective characteristics. If you manage to find all the components and choose the optimal proportions, the result will definitely not disappoint.

Ready-made homemade car shampoos are equally suitable for contact and contactless washing. In the first case, you will need to apply the prepared foam with soft brushes or sponges, and in the second, a certain amount of the product is poured into a foam generator, connected to a water supply and applied to body surfaces.

It is worth noting that when washing car windows, it is better not to use car body shampoos, but to use special products designed specifically for working with glass and mirror surfaces. Otherwise, shampoos can leave streaks and stains that will interfere with the view through the windshield or simply spoil the overall appearance of the car.

Safety precautions when preparing car shampoo

Any solution for treating a car is made by dissolving a prepared concentrated car shampoo with a given amount of water. When using homemade shampoo, to avoid unpleasant consequences, you need to follow some rules:

  • If the cleaning solution remains on the body, rainbow spots and stains may form.
  • After finishing washing the paintwork, headlights and glass, wipe them dry with a special soft cloth or napkin.
  • During contact washing, the applied solution in concentrated form must be quickly rubbed into foam.
  • A very high concentration of shampoo often leads to defects in the car body coating.

How to properly use homemade car chemicals

There are no beneficial differences between homemade and homemade chemicals. Shampoo for contactless washing, which you prepare yourself, just needs to be diluted in water. Then we perform the following simple steps:

  1. Apply shampoo and water to the car body with a washcloth, without rubbing too much.
  2. We wait a couple of minutes for the shampoo to remove the dust.
  3. Again, we wash off the shampoo with a brush, only now along with the dirt.

You can also polish your car, but not more than once a year. Doing this is somewhat more difficult and responsible, so it is better to buy high-quality cosmetics. After rinsing off the shampoo, just wipe the surface with a rag, which will get rid of unwanted marks on the body.

Manual car wash

Currently, the automotive cosmetics retail chain has a large selection of different shampoos for manual washing in various containers. Manual shampoos allow you to wash your car with a regular sponge. To make this procedure simpler, special attachments are often used to dissolve the shampoo. The advantage of car shampoo for manual washing is its neutral balance of alkali and acid.

Car washing becomes safe thanks to the special features of the composition, which allows you to quickly wash the glass and body of the vehicle. When the car dries, a special film forms on the surface, protecting it from dirt. Many products are used to make the surface shine.

On special trading platforms you can currently buy easy-to-use cylinders that spray a special composition onto the glass and body. They are well suited for use when traveling by car.

To make your own shampoo for your car, it is better to use non-aggressive substances to prevent the possibility of a negative effect on the body coating. Washing a car is considered a responsible procedure that requires knowledge. Therefore, drivers should know which shampoo for hand washing is best to purchase. Everyone wants their car not to be exposed to aggressive chemicals and to be clean.

The best car shampoos for contactless washing

When using specialized equipment, car owners prefer several brands of shampoos.

NameVolume, mlTypePeculiaritiesCost, rub
Karcher Ultra Foam Cleaner (Germany)5000Concentrate based on surfactantsEnvironmentally friendly composition for Karcher mini-washes. Creates a large amount of foam, cleanses well, is safe for the skin 1 500
AGA S15 (Russia)1000ConcentrateCreates a large volume of active foam that copes with serious dirt (including bird droppings). The composition contains surfactants. Low consumption and low price 180
Grass Foam Truck (Russia)6000ConcentrateThe composition can corrode the skin of the hands. Effectively removes old dirt. However, it is recommended to use it only when necessary. It's too aggressive for weekly cleaning. 1 100
HI-GEAR Hg8002n (Russia)1000ConcentrateThe protective layer remains on the surface for a long time. Do not apply to areas with corrosion, as the composition will accelerate its spread. 350

If these compounds seem expensive, you can save a little.

What are the consequences of using chemicals incorrectly?

It must be said that a large number of car owners use low-quality chemicals, because they do not know how to properly wash the car if there is no special shampoo available. As a result, after using low-quality chemicals, dirt, stains and streaks are revealed. In addition, incorrect use of such products often causes cloudy spots on the paintwork, which is not a positive factor.

In order to prevent such negative effects from the use of various chemical detergents, it is advisable to use only the most reliable and high-quality special shampoos for automotive equipment.

The use of high-quality chemistry will significantly save wasted effort and time. Now all drivers can know how to choose the right car shampoo for touchless washing. The use of such products is recommended only in specialized car washes.

A specially conducted test of automotive chemicals for the non-contact method shows their high efficiency, however, when choosing, experts advise determining the availability of a permit or a special certificate of conformity, which should always be included with the shampoo.

When car owners do not follow the instructions, the body surface is damaged. Over time, negative factors can only increase. This car wash is well suited for cars with a new coating. Today we can say that only a special shampoo for the non-contact method of body treatment is the best for external cleaning of the car. Drivers are hesitant to constantly use touchless shampoo on new cars to prevent damage to the body. Possible defects in the paintwork will cost them too much.

Consequences of improper use of auto chemicals

You already know what you can use to replace factory car shampoo at home. But the preparation of auto chemicals should be approached very responsibly, choosing the appropriate ingredients and observing certain proportions when combining them.

Practice shows that quite often, in pursuit of a desire to save money, motorists buy very cheap chemicals of dubious quality and origin, or wash their cars with compounds that are not intended for this purpose. Some of them can cope with their tasks without harming the car. But this is always a potential risk that is important to remember.

If we talk about the possible consequences of such decisions, then we can highlight the following:

  • improper use can lead to difficult removal of chemicals from surfaces;
  • stains and stains may remain after washing;
  • the products react with the paintwork, worsening its condition;
  • constant use of harmful chemicals leads to the destruction of the paint layer;
  • such washing methods can cause corrosion;
  • If you wash your car incorrectly, a large amount of moisture often remains, which is harmful.
  • electrical wiring and accelerates the formation of rust.

The main threat lies precisely in the deterioration of the coating on the car, which will then have to be restored and repainted. The worst-case scenario is the destruction of the varnish and paint layer, followed by the formation of rust. Moreover, this can happen in hard-to-reach and barely noticeable places, from which it was not possible to fully remove the remnants of shampoo, whose components have reacted.

High-quality auto chemicals fully justify the investment in them. Modern preparations are not at all a simple soap solution, which is needed solely to remove contaminants. Indeed, in theory, you can get rid of them with ordinary warm water. These are car shampoos with a multi-component composition that efficiently remove dirt, protect the body, maintain the paint layer in perfect condition, maintaining shine and density.

It has become warm outside, and I don’t see the point in paying 200-250 rubles for a car wash. Now I will share with you the technology of contactless washing in dacha conditions, without the use of an AED.

The pictures are all clickable! For washing we need:

1. Sprayer (you can use a pump sprayer like mine for 5 liters - 399 rubles in OK, or even a 0.5 liter sprayer for windshield wipers). 2. Means for contactless washing. (The average cost of a 20 liter canister is 1600-1700 rubles, but 1 liter for 10-15 washes will be enough for you, i.e. the cost of 1 wash is approximately 5.5-6 rubles). 3. A hose with water, preferably with a nozzle for a flat stream (a garden multifunctional watering gun for 250 rubles in OKey will do, and will come in handy at the dacha.) 4. Chamois chamois (on average costs 100-200 rubles).

Let's start washing:

1. It is necessary to dilute the chemical correctly. At car washes they dilute 400-800 ml per 50 liter bottle. The main thing is not to overdo it, as it can leave a whitish residue that is difficult to remove.

I dilute 100-150ml. for 5l. balloon Because My water doesn’t have any filters and is already dirty, it just pumps from the river.

2. Assess the degree of contamination. In my case, it is light and the dirt, if you can call it that, is loose. But the disks are already dirtier.

3. It is advisable to apply the chemical to a dry body. If it gets wet, the ability to eat away dirt may deteriorate, because... the finished composition already has a dilution ratio with water; if you still mix it on the surface of a wet body, the washing properties will drop, because the dilution ratio will increase. And we don’t have an AED; the dirt won’t fall off from a regular jet.

4. It should also be applied in a certain sequence.

5. After application, you need to wait about 1-2 minutes for the dirt to break down. But if you see that it starts to dry out earlier, wash it off.

6. The roof, hood, and trunk should also be washed off initially. And then everything else. Paying special attention to moldings, mirrors and other items with internal cavities. Because . If you don’t rinse them well, chemical residues will leak out and leave behind stains.

(At car washes, according to the instructions, it is correct to rinse from bottom to top, since there is less chance of missing an area with dirt, because while the car is wet, it seems clean, and as it dries, unwashed stains appear. But this is only applicable in enclosed spaces with high humidity and without exposure to sunlight, in my case, if you wash it off like this, the applied emulsion will simply dry on the roof and hood).

7. Check the results.

8. Wipe dry with a suede cloth. Although I never wipe, and I don’t get any streaks.

I spend no more than 7-10 minutes on the entire washing process, and only 5 rubles.

How to wash a car? Recommendations

Not all cars can be called unpretentious, and not everyone can use ordinary tap water as a detergent. Moreover, you should not touch the sides of your “iron horse” with a rag or an old T-shirt. To avoid disappointment, it is recommended to follow these simple rules:

Washing powders and gels are not intended for washing cars, and therefore their use is not recommended. There are many different car shampoos on sale, and when choosing them, information about the consistency options of the products will be useful. Car wash shampoos can be classified as follows:

The first two types of products need to be diluted with water; liquid shampoos are sold completely ready for use.

The inability to purchase detergents should not be a reason to cancel washing - solutions suitable for the procedure can be made independently at home. This can be done in a garage or any other room, the only condition is the availability of suitable containers and ingredients.

Car washing accessories

The car owner has to keep his vehicle clean regardless of his desire or mood. Experienced drivers know that a freshly washed car has improved aerodynamic parameters. Air resistance weakens, and fuel consumption per unit distance decreases.

This does not mean that the car should be “bathed” every other day or every day. It is advisable to clearly define the conditions and time when you need to use your own car shampoo. It is important to wash your car according to the rules, so that the negative consequences are minimal or completely absent.

On the shelf, next to the shampoo canister, it is advisable to have the following accessories:

  • Hard and soft brush;
  • Microfiber cloths;
  • Cotton towels.

The above list can be expanded. The main thing when washing a car is to complete the procedure correctly. Otherwise, all your efforts and car shampoo will be wasted. Carefully wipe the surface of the body and glass so that no streaks remain.

It is imperative to check whether water has entered the interior. Often, a little moisture accumulates under the carpet in the driver's seat. Over time, a corrosion center will inevitably form in this place. You can leave the car with the doors open for half an hour to ventilate the interior.

How to use auto chemicals correctly

Recommendations

Often, car owners who want to save money on car wash services prefer to wash their cars themselves, making car shampoo with their own hands. Making your own detergent is not particularly difficult, but you need to remember that the wrong composition can ruin the car’s coating.

Car wash

If you decide to reduce the cost of washing your iron horse and do it yourself, before you start making a cleaning product, read the recipe and purchase quality ingredients. The composition of the shampoo should be professional because:

Some drivers use regular shampoos or dishwashing detergent to wash their cars. They cope with dust and dirt, but oil and soot remain on the surface even after washing. Sometimes vehicle owners do not delve into the recipe necessary to prepare the solution, and then aggressive chemicals spoil the varnish on the surface of the body, which incurs considerable restoration costs.

In order for the vehicle to look well-groomed, the varnish to shine, and the optics to be in perfect condition, you need to use only high-quality detergents designed specifically for washing cars. This will increase attractiveness and reduce accident rates. Car shampoo is one of the main components intended for car care.

Types and features of funds

There are many types of car shampoos. They differ in consistency, aggressiveness, additives, etc.

The following types exist:

GRASS foam for contactless vehicle washing

Today, the automotive market offers products intended mainly for the second type. They are characterized by the formation of a large amount of foam, which acts on dust and dirt, removing it from the surface.

Based on consistency, products are divided into the following types:

Recently, various products have begun to be added to car shampoos that provide the body with light polishing or form a thin film of wax.

A simple option for gentle shampoo

How to make car shampoo with your own hands? To make a homemade cleaning solution for washing, you will need a container from a high-quality product on which the composition is written. We study it carefully and begin to act. We write down all the components, excluding chemical ones. We buy the most common hair shampoo, it doesn’t have to be expensive, simple is fine, add what’s written on your list, and the car shampoo for contactless washing is ready.

Regular hair shampoo

This method is the safest for both the car owner and the paintwork, but it probably won’t cope with complex stains the way you want. But it is economical, easy to make, produces a lot of foam and makes the car look quite clean.

Never use mixtures of cheap chemicals to prepare shampoo. By doing this, you will not only undermine your health, but also ruin your car coating. It will become cloudy, remaining in the same dirty spots, and, possibly, will corrode the varnish layer. Glass may also lose transparency.

Research car washing. What types are there, what products should be used in this or that case, what chemical components are harmful. Only after this begin to study basic recipes for car shampoos.

Car shampoo recipes

On the Internet you can find a whole bunch of recipes that promise us an ideal ratio of price and quality of the resulting product. If you want to make a product that perfectly resembles a store-bought product, be sure to purchase deodorizing fragrances and polishing products. A small number of them will need to be included in the composition.

So, what does homemade contactless washing foam include:

DIY car shampoo

The main thing where we start preparing our solution is the base. In good natural compositions, the base is water with a pH of 7. It is gentle on chrome and varnish. Having decided on the type of sink, you can add the following components. For hand washing they should be less aggressive. The most popular surfactants used in car shampoos are anionic and nonionic.

The next thing that is added is complexing agents. They are used to reduce water hardness. If this component is not added, it will lose its fluidity, which will complicate washing in hard-to-reach parts of the car body.

These include:

You can mix all the ingredients yourself without following strict rules. If you feel that it is difficult for you to cope with this task, and you do not know what and how much to add, buy car shampoo in the store. This will save you from mistakes, the cost of which will be damaged paintwork on your vehicle. Do-it-yourself active foam for contactless washing, prepared correctly, will serve you no worse than what you purchased at a car store.

Problems with the Most Popular Homemade Car Wash Products

Dishwashing liquids: These foam up like car shampoo and work very well on greasy dirt. Unfortunately, the cleaning effect is usually disappointing: these kitchen solvents cannot cope with bitumen stains and other complex road stains left on the varnish.

Attention! Some fluids may contain vinegar, which accelerates corrosion.

Floor and tile cleaners: While hand washes should not be chemically harsh, other household cleaning products may have a higher paint hazard. They often contain strong acids that cause corrosion of metal elements. Products containing bleaches will also discolor varnish and plastic elements.

Cleaning lotions: The abrasive particles found in bathroom cleaners are much sharper and larger than those found in car body polishes. Using them on a vehicle can damage the paint and plastic.

Do not use to wash car body!

Aggressive products for the kitchen and bathroom (lotions, descaling agents, bleaches) are strictly prohibited for washing the body. Moreover, they should not even be stored near the car, because even one small drop is enough to destroy the varnish or paint. If the product gets on the body, quickly remove any remaining residue and rinse everything with plenty of water.

Car care products are usually more delicate than household chemicals.

As mentioned above, do not use sponges to wash dishes. We also recommend that you be careful with washcloths. They, just like sponges, can cause severe damage to the bodywork.

There is no substitute for car shampoo

But all of these washing products listed above are not only hypothetically or obviously dangerous, but also ineffective compared to professional car care products. Therefore, their use is either not encouraged at all, or they can be used, but not on an ongoing basis - they are ineffective and are only a short-term replacement in a situation where there are no other options.

Sometimes the idea to wash your car comes to mind spontaneously, but you don’t have the necessary car chemicals at hand!

If you live outside the city and often wash your car on your own, we advise you to purchase a normal car shampoo and wash it using normal car chemicals. This way the paintwork will be preserved, and the result will be fast and high quality!

Studying the label

Before you start washing, study the manufacturer's recommendations, which are indicated on the car shampoo label. It gives proportions for working with a foam generator and a foam kit. For example, consider the active foam Grass Active Foam Truck. A 23 kg canister is enough to wash 300 - 400 cars. The proportions for a foam generator will be from 1:50 to 1:100 - this is approximately 10 - 20 g per liter of water; for foam kit - from 1:3 to 1:9 or 100 - 250 g per liter of water. This product is two-component, so before diluting it you need to shake it so that the ingredients are mixed. If you have to wash a truck, then for the same volume of water you need 1.5 - 2 times more shampoo. Each manufacturer makes its own recommendations depending on the concentration of the composition.
