When all the elements are installed and the wires are out, we proceed to install the alarm unit on the cross beam behind the dashboard of the body either with clamps or with self-tapping screws.

Next, we proceed to the operation of bypassing the standard immobilizer; to do this, we put the bypass frame on the ignition switch. We connect the ground wire for the parking brake and tachometer. Then we cut the wire for the open door signaling device to the trunk limit switch. Fortunately, on the Renault Logan the trailer from the trunk is already connected to the rear doors; all that remains is to extend the wire from the front passenger door.

We connect the wires from the central locking and the turn signal on the BCM unit. If necessary, we connect the brake pedal control wire. There are quite wide gaps between the front edge of the hood and the trim. Through them, a lot of dirt gets into the engine compartment. The gaps above the headlights are especially large. To seal, we used self-adhesive sound insulation 8 mm thick. A sheet of material 150x100 cm costs about 300 rubles. Strips 17–18 mm wide were cut from it. The inside of the hood along the edge was thoroughly wiped with a rag containing white spirit, traces of anticorrosive were removed, and only then the seal was glued on (photo 2).

How to increase engine power on Logan?
