When all the elements are installed and the wires are out, we proceed to install the alarm unit on the cross beam behind the dashboard of the body either with clamps or with self-tapping screws.
Next, we proceed to the operation of bypassing the standard immobilizer; to do this, we put the bypass frame on the ignition switch. We connect the ground wire for the parking brake and tachometer. Then we cut the wire for the open door signaling device to the trunk limit switch. Fortunately, on the Renault Logan the trailer from the trunk is already connected to the rear doors; all that remains is to extend the wire from the front passenger door.
We connect the wires from the central locking and the turn signal on the BCM unit. If necessary, we connect the brake pedal control wire. Wipers after modification.
The right brush is “original”, 50 cm long. In order for the dirt it cleans to fall into the sector of the left brush and be removed in reverse, the right brush should move a little to the left during operation. But if you rearrange it on the splines, a wide, uncleaned sector will remain below. Therefore, we straightened the tip of the leash, and now the brush lock is parallel to the axis of the leash. The latter had to be removed from the car (a puller is useful in this operation, or, at worst, L-shaped pliers) and unbent in a vice. The procedure is simple. And even though after such modification the brush in its original position lies at a slight angle to the lower edge of the windshield, the field of view increases and there are no drips (photo 1).
There are quite wide gaps between the front edge of the hood and the trim. Through them, a lot of dirt gets into the engine compartment. The gaps above the headlights are especially large. To seal, we used self-adhesive sound insulation 8 mm thick. A sheet of material 150x100 cm costs about 300 rubles. Strips 17–18 mm wide were cut from it. The inside of the hood along the edge was thoroughly wiped with a rag containing white spirit, traces of anticorrosive were removed, and only then the seal was glued on (photo 2).
How to increase engine power on Logan?
This is probably not where we should start. If you want the car to be “more playful”, you need to properly maintain it and pay attention to many factors: - air filter, fuel filter - timely replacement. — tire pressure — it has long been proven that this affects both consumption and dynamics. - maintenance (adjustment) of the thermal gap of the MGR is normal - I checked it on a Zhiguli, there is a difference.
