4. The other ends of the heating tap pipes are attached to the stove radiator. There are also two clamps there. They are loosened with a Phillips screwdriver and pulled off the radiator pipes by hand.
5. As soon as the faucet is completely free from the pipes (both from the passenger compartment and from the engine side), you can proceed to unscrewing its fasteners. The stove faucet is held on two studs with nuts set to “10”. It is best to unscrew these nuts using a spanner wrench, since there is little space under the side panel.

6. After unscrewing both nuts, the valve can be removed from the mounting studs. But this must be done more carefully, because a rod is attached to the tap, which will also have to be disconnected.
7. The cable rod of the heating tap is held on a steel clamp. To straighten it, you need to use pliers.

Step-by-step repair instructions

In order for everything to be done correctly, the motorist must know how to replace the heater valve on his car. First of all, you need to unscrew the plug located on the power unit block, which will allow you to easily and quickly get rid of antifreeze (you will need the above container).

Next, you will have to spend time thoroughly soaking the bolts, after which you will have to clean their threaded base with a wire brush. While the bolts are being soaked, you can pay attention to removing the pipes.

The fact is that if it is necessary to dismantle the stove faucet, you will have to complete the above step, otherwise the bolt heads located in the plastic base of the faucet will rotate, increasing the time required for repairs.

Then you need to get rid of the right trim in the car interior, unscrew the clamps from all the pipes (using a Phillips screwdriver will help with the work).

Disassembly and assembly of the VAZ-2115 stove

The repair of the VAZ-2115 stove should be continued by removing the “lost” nuts of the bolts, through which the heater radiator tap is secured.

• We go into the salon and move the seats towards the rear seat + recline the backrests + cover the seats with a large piece of oilcloth, and lay an old blanket on top

Well, since the difference between them in terms of heat transfer is not critical, a ceramic product is recognized as the most optimal option when replacing the VAZ 2115 heater tap.
