The recipe turned out to be simple enough to increase the height of the cylinder block by 3.2.3 mm and increase the piston stroke from 71 mm to 75.6 mm. At the same time, the diameter of the cylinder, that is, the piston, was the same 82 mm.

Unfortunately, to avoid valve failure, the 1.6-liter pistons are now recessed. because when the timing belt breaks in 1.6 liter engines, the valve does not bend . Some competent motorists with a complete overhaul of a 1.5-liter engine install new pistons with recesses from a 1.6-liter engine. The piston is the same size.
