Without disconnecting the headlight block, we move it to the side so as to free access to the rear of the fog light.
Turn the lamp socket counterclockwise.
Press the latch of the wire block and disconnect it from the lamp socket connector.

We take out the socket together with the lamp (it is made integral with the socket). The fog lights use H11 lamps with a power of 55 W. Install the new lamp in reverse order.

To remove the fog lamp, move away or remove the headlight unit (see “Removing the headlight unit, replacing Ford Focus 2 lamps”).

Using a Torx T-25 wrench, unscrew the two screws securing the fog lamp to the bumper.
We take out the fog lamp from the niche in the bumper.
Press the lock of the wire block, disconnect it from the headlight connector and remove the headlight.

We install the Ford Focus 2 fog lamp in the reverse order and adjust the direction of the headlight beam (see “Adjusting the direction of the headlight beam”).

The base of the H8 and H11 lamps differs slightly, but the power of the first lamp is 35W, and the second is 55W. If you install higher power lamps on dorestyle, there is a possibility that the PTFs may melt.

Unscrew the headlight and move it to the side

Turn it half a turn and pull it out of the PTF

Disconnect the socket from the lamp and take out the old lamp. We install a new one and reassemble in the reverse order.

The second way to replace the lamp

Gently press the latch and remove the decorative PTF frame

Adjusting PTF on Ford Focus 2

Take a Phillips screwdriver and turn the adjuster shown by the arrow in the figure. It changes the position of the light beam in the vertical plane.

By turning the regulator indicated by the arrow in the second photo, it changes the position of the light flux in the horizontal plane.

You need to remove the decorative element on the bumper by prying it with a screwdriver and pulling it off the locks holding the part. You need to feel for the lining retainer, which is easier to reach from above, from the inside above the PTF segment located at the rear. The component is removed from the front of the bumper.

Important! The part is held in place by tenacious but fragile clamps, forcing you to act with extreme caution.

The main nuances of tuning Ford Focus 2

The screws attaching the optics are unscrewed using the TORX T 20 set. Having finally disconnected the component from the bumper, pull the headlight out of the mounting socket, pressing the connector lock, which allows you to disconnect the electrical wiring harness.
