I admit, halfway there was a desire to turn back and leave everything as it was, but the feeling of beauty overpowered and the one walking the road mastered it! The company is called AndreBiler, it is present on Drive, I wrote to them, called them and came. We discussed my wishes and their conditions. As a result, both steering wheels were sewn, and the stitching on the steering wheel and cushion was made orange. The original leather was removed from the first steering wheel, the heating was carefully separated, it was glued to the steering wheel and covered with new leather. It turned out to be the same thickness as before, but in a different color. At my request, the second steering wheel was made with a thicker rim; it was sheathed directly on the original leather. One of the most important things in my case was that I needed to have the Vauxhall logo on the steering wheels professionally designed. Previously, I came up with the idea of sticking the emblem on the pillow with tape directly on the Opel emblem, but in the discussion I was criticized (and rightly so, by the way!) for the safety of my design. This nevertheless contributed to my desire to do everything without a collective farm)) The guys coped with this task perfectly. The emblem is recessed into the pillow and now stands as if it were original; there are no complaints about the safety of the airbag. A technical incision was made and a seam was made on the skin from the inside, clearly along the seam of the opening of the plastic pillow. The steering wheel has orange stitching. Now it has become more pleasant to hold onto a thicker steering wheel with your hands. Heating works normally. On a thicker steering wheel, the heating is a little less and takes a little longer to warm up. Time will tell how they will wear, but for now, I am pleased with the result, price and quality. Nismo
Few people know that the name of one of the leading automobile studios, Nismo, is just an abbreviation that stands for Nissan Motorsport International Limited. The tuning salon was created in 1984, on the initiative of Nissan, one of the leaders in Japanese mechanical engineering.
Initially, the car dealership was created with the aim of improving Nissan racing cars, but the idea quickly caught on and was liked by many ordinary citizens. As a result, today Nismo is developing tuning components for Japanese cars, as well as refining existing car models. The company is best known for such models as the Nissan Silvia and Nissan Skyline.
But it all started completely differently. The first car from the studio was a car called Saurus. The car was created as a racing car to participate in races under the Nissan logo. In the same year, the Skyline GT-R was released. The car was liked by the demanding public, and Nismo released it in quite an impressive quantity, as for a tuning salon. In 1988, 500 copies of this car were produced.
Throughout the nineties, the company has been actively involved in racing. Nismo first competed in Japanese F3000 qualifying. In the period from 91 to 92, the studio's cars took several prizes, but this was still not enough to create the image of a racing tuning salon.
In '93, Nismo spends all its resources on refining racing cars. This is bearing fruit: in the qualifying part, cars from this company take 7 out of 11 prize places and people are starting to talk about Nismo outside Japan. However, it never came to participation in the famous Formula 1.
In 1995, the company changed its management, and at the same time the vector of its economic direction changed. The board of directors decides to change the direction of the company - now it will mainly focus on the foreign market and producing products for Nissan.
It cannot be said that the studio lost much from these changes - the salon’s products are still known throughout the world today, although it is a fact that the racing community has lost a brilliant participant in Nismo and one of the possible leaders of most world races.
Nismo's main focus is the development of rally cars for participation in local Japanese races. In addition, recently the studio has been taking steps to enter the world racing arena. Nismo also supplies a wide range of spare parts to global automotive markets and carries out repairs and modernization of existing Nissan models.
One of the latest successes of the car dealership can be considered a modernization called Nissan Nismo 350Z. This is a magnificent top-class racing car, made in the spirit of the good old Japanese Grand Tourismo. The car is truly violent on the roads.

As a result of the work of specialists from Nismo, the car acquired a multi-link suspension, as well as a powerful V6 engine with a capacity of 306 horsepower. The car has a 6-speed gearbox. In addition, Nissan said that the American version of the car will also have traction control and electronic power steering. Japanese managers took the issue of introducing cars to the American market seriously.
The car was equipped according to the results of a survey of American drivers. In addition to the innovations listed above, the American version of the car will include a cruise control system, sports gas and brake pedals, as well as an electronic drive for various components. Many leading experts have already agreed that the Nissan Nismo 350Z can become one of the best amateur sports cars of the last decade.
But Nismo did not plan to stop there. The car dealership is already talking about updating such famous models as the Nissan Skyline and Nissan Altima. Several types of family hatchbacks and sedans will also undergo improvements. In addition, there is also talk of creating a limited edition supercar called the Nissan GT-R.
