1) At the beginning of the operation, de-energize the battery by removing the “-” terminal from it. 4) Next, disconnect the block and the wiring harness of the windshield wiper motor gearbox.

5) Then, using an extension with a socket head, unscrew the lower bolt that secures the windshield wiper trapezoid to the car body.

Note! When the bolt is unscrewed, pay attention that under this bolt there is a ground wire, so when unscrewing the bolt, be careful not to damage the wire!

6) Then remove the plastic wire holder from the body so as not to lose it later when removing the trapezoid.

Note! When the holder is removed, straighten it with your hands and, as a result, remove it from the wires!

7) Now remove both rollers of the windshield wiper trapezoid from the holes.

Note! Install the windshield wiper trapezoid in the reverse order of removal!

Note! When repairing the windshield wiper trapezoid, do not, under any circumstances, if you do not have the appropriate experience, remove the armature shaft adjustment screw. When it is turned out, the axial clearance at the shaft is violated!

Removal: 1) First, use a wrench to unscrew the nut that secures the trapezoid crank.

2) And then remove the crank by prying it up with a screwdriver.
