The process of replacing the windshield wiper trapezoid of Daewoo Matiz
- We stop and turn off the car.
- Remove the rubber plugs where the wipers connect to the trapezoid. The plugs can be pryed off with a small flathead screwdriver.
- We unscrew the nuts that secure the wipers to the trapezoid. The master will need a 12mm head.
- We remove the wipers . Each of the Daewoo Matiz wipers is first bent away from the windshield and then removed from the engagement of the trapezoid pin.

- We close the hood (there is no need to close it completely) and simply remove the frill . Please note that hose . Don't break the hose .
- Unscrew the nuts on the trapezoid axes of the windshield wipers. Each axle is held in place by 3 nuts. You will need a 10mm head.
- The moving part of the trapezoid is fixed on the runner of the electric motor. Fixation is carried out using a plastic clip. It just needs to be removed from the shaft .

- We put a new trapezoid in place of the worn one.
- Please note that the clip contains lubricant . That's how it should be. This is a special lubricant that takes care of the plastic clip for a very long time.
- We fix the trapezoid axes with nuts.
- We snap the clip onto the slider of the Daewoo Matiz electric motor. A little grease will come out of the clip, this is normal.
- We immediately check how the windshield wiper trapezoid works. We just turn on the wipers without blades.
- If the trapezoid works normally, then we assemble the unit in the reverse order. Pay attention to the length of each windshield wiper. The left windshield wiper, which is opposite the driver, is longer than the right one.

The wires from the wiper motor are one to the ignition switch wire, red with a yellow stripe; +12V appears on it when the ignition is turned on.
You need to hang a fuse on this circuit near the ignition switch, enough for 10A. Another wire, to the white wire of the wiper switch connector.
