What you need to know about resellers and how to start your own business using this

Currently, there are a huge variety of business ideas. Some require active participation, others do not even involve leaving the house. One of the effective ways to make money on cars is to resell them. People who engage in such business are called resellers. With the right approach, competent market analysis and effective search for clients, you can achieve impressive results and ensure a solid monthly profit, simply by acting as an intermediary between the seller and the buyer. The essence of the business comes down to making a profit from the resale of the vehicle. First, you need to buy it at a favorable price, that is, at minimal cost, and only then sell it to another person at the highest possible rate. Such activity is completely legal. But in order to succeed in this area, you need to make appropriate efforts, learn how to look for profitable cars, and also correctly sell the purchased vehicle.

Recommendations for starting a car repurchase business.

How resellers work

Motorists are often interested in how exactly repurchasing used cars works and how they manage to make money. Car repurchase as a business is aimed at obtaining maximum profits. To do this, the secondary market is analyzed, a person is looking for sellers who need to get rid of a car faster, as well as buyers who are ready to take a worthwhile car for good money. It is the issue of urgency that plays one of the key roles here. This allows the outbid to impose its own conditions and rules of the game. That is, this is a real opportunity to take a car at a lower price than its current market value. When a reseller finds a car that is profitable for him and buys it, there is a need to quickly find a client, but not lose money. There are various ways to find buyers, ranging from regular free newspapers to Internet sites.

Experienced resellers are also good psychologists. They know how to convince and approach clients in such a way that they definitely agree to the proposed conditions and prices. Some even use special techniques to attract buyers, clearly showing that they have the best offer. A common and fairly simple method of making a profit from resale is to buy a car that has some damage, defects, or minor technical faults. Due to them it is possible to reduce the price. And after the purchase, the car is brought into adequate condition, which allows it to be sold at the market price. Hence the profit on the difference between selling and buying.

An important nuance is that sellers and buyers are not always aware of the fact of cooperation with a reseller. They position themselves as real owners or buyers, since many do not want to cooperate with resellers.

Considering the possibility of substantial earnings, many are interested in how to become a good reseller and make money by reselling cars. Many people become resellers, but it is far from a fact that you will become an expert in this matter. After all, a business of this type places increased demands. And it is important to comply with them. And if a person becomes a representative of this type of activity, he must constantly develop and improve. Personal qualities, the ability to communicate with people, as well as knowledge of automation itself play a big role here.

How to become one

To start your own business, you need to accept the fact that you need constant work. It is on a person’s activity in the car market that his profit depends. Money doesn't come on its own. A good reseller must be able to:

  • buy good cars as cheaply as possible;
  • sell them to other people as expensively as possible.

All this is not inherent in a person from the very beginning, that is, you need to work on yourself, study the market, analyze it. It may be difficult at first. And you should also be prepared for this. That is, you should not immediately quit your main job and expect that from the first day a novice reseller will be able to carry out several transactions.

What should a newbie do?

If a person has firmly decided that he wants to try his hand at this business, and is confident in his own capabilities, he needs to start. The first thing you need to do is determine the price range of your starting proposed deals. But novice resellers don’t have to choose. To minimize any risks, you should start only with the budget category of vehicles. And it doesn’t matter how large an amount you have at your disposal as starting capital. Even when the budget is several million rubles, you shouldn’t spend all your money on one expensive car and try to make money on it. It is much better and safer to take several more budget cars at once. This will significantly increase the chances of at least not losing anything due to mistakes in the first stages of business development. The budget segment of vehicles has a number of undeniable advantages that play a key role for a beginning reseller:

  • the choice of cars themselves on the secondary market is very large;
  • it is much easier to find buyers;
  • with minimal risks you can gain invaluable experience.

The first experience in such a business is of great importance. It will make it clear where you made mistakes or what actions turned out to be truly correct. Initially, every stage of resale is important, from the purchase itself to the sale to the buyer. But you shouldn’t focus only on how best to give and receive money. You will think about this when you put your business on stream. Every novice reseller must clearly understand how much money he can spend on buying a car, how much money can realistically be allocated for restoration and making it marketable, so that the final profit does not go to zero. And here almost every little detail plays a role, from the cost of putty to the ability to identify hidden defects on cars.

Don’t worry that this will initially take a lot of time and effort. Sometimes, in order to earn at least 20-30 thousand rubles on one transaction, you have to sit for weeks in front of technical documentation, travel to different service stations and automotive stores, look for the best deals, and negotiate with people. All this experience will accumulate, and soon, instead of days or weeks, you will be able to spend a few hours at most. Don't be afraid of difficulties. If you are offered two approximately identical car options, then it is better to take the car that will allow you to learn something and gain new experience. That is, the least resistance will not help you here, since only by overcoming difficulties and various obstacles can you quickly turn from a beginner into a sought-after and expensive reseller. You shouldn’t be scattered across literally the entire range of the used car market. At first, it is recommended to work only with certain brands or models, which you will study in detail, find out the entire model range, history, characteristic faults, etc. Basic information includes:

  • estimated service life of the vehicle;
  • dependence of service life on operating conditions;
  • motor resource;
  • resource of systems and units;
  • prices for different cities and regions;
  • factory specifications;
  • parts and materials used by the plant (suppliers of spare parts, paint markings, etc.).

Roughly speaking, a beginner must become an expert in the cars he plans to resell. This knowledge gives you a number of advantages when working with sellers and buyers themselves. The seller can be presented with a number of claims for defects, the presence of malfunctions that even the owner himself is not aware of, or can be accused of tinting and other nuances that can actually reduce the price tag. And you can tell the buyer what advantages this car has, what work has been done and how profitable such a purchase will ultimately be. Psychology and the ability to find an approach to a specific person play a significant role here. But this does not mean that the reseller must be a qualified psychologist.

And do not forget that useful connections play an important role in the work of a reseller. We are talking about connections with car services, shops, various service stations, and individual specialists. It is worth gathering around you people who will be able to offer their services at better prices. Experienced resellers have all these connections clearly established, and have their own specialists for each issue. But don’t rush to make useful contacts from the very first day of working as a reseller. Everything comes with experience and time.

Resale – simple price increase

In general, the job of a reseller is to buy a used car at a cheaper price, bring it into marketable condition, hide defects and then sell it in order to obtain maximum profit.

In general, there is nothing illegal in this business; not all people want to spend their time and nerves on adding shine to their car, minor repairs, cleaning, washing, and most importantly, on the pre-sale fuss. These constant calls, meetings, listening to skeptical remarks, trying to bargain for several thousand rubles for “this scratch, it spoils the whole appearance of your car and no one will buy it from you anyway.”

Many owners are willing to reduce the price just to sell their car faster. And the reseller needs to buy the car as cheaply as possible, so that after a small investment in pre-sale preparation, he can sell it for as much as possible. The money raised in this way should be put into your pocket.

As you understand, from the seller’s point of view, it would be better to put this money in your pocket, because often pre-sale preparation will require much less expenses. Usually it includes washing, dry cleaning of the interior, polishing the body and minor repairs, possibly touch-up painting, replacing broken buttons, adjustments and similar work.

Then the cleanly washed and polished car is photographed in the best lighting from the most beautiful angles, the photographs are slightly adjusted using Photoshop and posted on various car sales sites.

The cost of all this work is significantly lower than the difference in the sale and purchase price that the reseller receives. In some cases, it amounts to 10-15% of the cost of the car. This is 20-30 thousand and can reach 100,000 rubles from a skilled reseller.

Finding great deals

Before becoming a reseller, a person must have at least some experience in operating, buying and selling cars. Even if you had to buy a car for yourself and also sell it on the secondary market, this is already a good amount of experience and knowledge for making money on such operations. Those who plan to become a reseller and are taking their first steps in this business are naturally interested in how experienced resellers find the best and cheapest cars. You, as a beginner, will be lucky if you find among the advertisements offers not from the same outbids as you. There are not as few of them as it might seem. And when the outbid has found a profitable option, he will try to do everything possible so as not to miss his chance.

It is important for a reseller to learn how to search for cars correctly. Other dealers are unlikely to tell you how they search for cars on the market in order to buy and sell them at a profit. It is better to gain experience in this matter yourself. Sometimes making some mistakes. And if you bought a car, but no one takes it for a long time, then you have to show patience and endurance. Even when people don’t want to rent cars for a long time, no matter how hard you try, eventually a buyer will definitely be found. All outbids will confirm this. Searches can be carried out in several ways. Moreover, it is better to do this in parallel, and not rely only on one source of information.

  • Internet. Searching for cars online, as the practice and experience of resellers shows, is not the most profitable or effective option. Here, the market is already monitored by a huge number of competitors. Plus, it’s far from a fact that the car you found will not be the reseller’s product. And it will be almost impossible to agree with him on a reduction in cost. But you shouldn’t exclude the Internet either, since new offers are published here every minute;
  • Offline. This can include literally everything, from car markets to local free newspapers and simple advertisements on the rear windows of cars. A large number of people do not use the services of websites and various online resources. And this is a great chance for a beginner. When visiting different places where cars gather, you can probably see cars with advertisements on the glass. Be sure to check local print media. It wouldn’t hurt to tell your friends about your activities. According to the principle of word of mouth, those people whom you do not know will soon learn about you. And they may be interested in your services.

You need to look for good deals. And this is a key stage in the work of any reseller, regardless of his experience. You should constantly monitor the market and use all available resources. Even while on vacation and spending time with family or friends, look around and pay attention to the advertisements. A reseller doesn't have days off. He is constantly at work. Because any car is a potential profit.

Lithuanian designers

Well, finally, let's consider the option of selling a car from one of the car markets in Lithuania. Lithuania as a state has long specialized in the sale of used cars from Europe; convoys of car transporters with damaged and undamaged cars bought on the cheap from Germany, Sweden, France, and Holland travel to Lithuanian markets. In recent years, there are rumors that even from Germany, buyers are traveling to Lithuania to buy a used car cheaper. This market for inexpensive cars is actively used by resellers to purchase resale items. Why, let us think, are cars so cheap in Lithuania, even compared to other Baltic states?

According to used car sellers from Germany and France, Lithuanian traders buy from them in bulk, 20-30 cars at a time, of course, with a slight discount. They take away not only serviceable cars, but also broken ones, changelings and drowned people. All this is loaded onto car carriers and sent to Lithuania. And there, at many local service stations, more or less serviceable cars are brought to a salable condition, faulty ones are repaired, and those that are not suitable for repair are dismantled for spare parts. Everything goes into action.

Thanks to the massive import of both initial objects and the abundance of objects for spare parts, assembled and repaired cars are relatively cheap. In addition, local auto dealers have not yet been bronzed like their lazier colleagues in Russia, who will not lift a finger if profits are expected to be below 100%. For Lithuanians, a 30% benefit is enough.

And such a car, assembled from several discarded ones, brought to the appearance of a new one and bought by a reseller for a couple of thousand euros at a car market in Kaunas or Vilnius, after customs clearance will be offered to you by this very reseller, as from the first owner in Russia, and even though never repaired, never damaged or painted. And, of course, thousands for 5-7 European money.

Of course, I give a very sad version. Not all cars sold in Lithuania are assembled in Vilnius garages. But the fact of the matter is that there is absolutely no guarantee against this option when buying a car from a reseller. In this case, the title is new and original, and the body number and engine number are the same. All that remains is to measure the paint layer around the entire perimeter, looking for the thickness of the putty, and using the VIN to try to track the history of the car in the EU in databases. But that's a completely different story.

Goodbye, dear readers, subscribe to my blog updates, recommend it to your friends and acquaintances.

Choosing the right car

Before you buy a vehicle that will be resold in the future, you need to carefully examine the car itself. Sometimes it pays to take a car that is not in perfect condition, polish it up and sell it at a higher price. But even here, frankly worn-out cars, which require a lot of effort, time and money, are not worth taking. When choosing a car for resale, it is recommended to pay attention to the following points:

  • Photos. Don't think that you can sell your car in a few days. This is rather an exception when, after publishing an ad, the seller immediately finds a buyer. If you only have access to photos in the ads, look at them. If these are winter landscapes, while it’s long been summer outside, then the car will probably take a long time to sell. And this is a great chance to bargain;
  • Gaps. Even from the photo you can see the presence of gaps between body elements that do not correspond to the factory condition of the car. This is direct confirmation of participation in an accident or the extraction procedure;
  • Tires and wheels. By their appearance, experienced dealers determine how the owner feels about his car;
  • Salon. Traces of wear on interior elements also indicate appropriate treatment of the car. This makes the car cheaper, but makes it a profitable investment for the reseller;
  • Corrosion. Only honest sellers take photographs of areas where corrosion has begun and traces of rust have appeared. Therefore, they can often be detected only during personal examination.

All signs of wear, repair and replacement are a reason to reduce the price, buy a car profitably, and then resell it just as profitably.

The nuances of a profitable sale

If you have come to grips with the question of how to engage in repurchase of used cars, then getting the benefits from reselling the vehicle comes to the fore. It is important to understand that resellers register the car in their name, since they purchase the vehicle for personal use. At least that's what sellers should think. What happens after registration does not matter to the seller. He gets money. Resellers often drive a registered car, but they try to do it very carefully so as not to damage the car and preserve its presentation as much as possible. And here it is natural to ask how much resellers earn and how profitable it is for buyers to resell cars. This directly depends on the ability to sell the vehicle profitably. Here we come to the most important thing. The outbidder must put himself in the buyer’s shoes and understand under what conditions a person will be willing to pay for the car the amount that the seller wants to get.

  1. Appearance. Always show your car in a clean and shiny condition. It is recommended to artificially blacken the rubber, which will create the effect of novelty. The entire interior is cleaned, foreign odors are removed, and good fragrances are used.
  2. Visible damage. The buyer wants to buy a car that he can get into and drive immediately after purchase. He doesn't want to waste time and effort on repairs. Therefore, it is important to first get rid of all visible damage if you really want to sell your car profitably.
  3. Price. It is important to find a middle ground here. You shouldn’t raise the price tag too high, because even with all the objective advantages, the client will find the same car, but noticeably cheaper. It is also impossible to go cheap, since the benefits will be minimal for all investments.
  4. Conversation. Communication with the client plays a key role in the question of whether you can sell the car or not, whether you will be able to maintain the desired price tag, or whether you will have to make a discount. Never speak without thinking first. Weigh every word. Don't show that you want to sell the car faster. Take your time. Show that you have nowhere to rush, there are still many potential clients. Don't be afraid to scare off the buyer.

Do not forget to make a certain reserve for the possibility of bargaining. It is psychologically important for the client that they give in to him at least a little. Even 200-300 dollars will be a success for him, although this is the amount you initially set as the optimal amount for sale.

How to start working in the resale direction

Working as a reseller is not difficult, but not everyone can successfully master the field. The principles of resale come down to making a profit from the difference between the cost of purchasing a car and the amount received from its sale. To get started, all you need to do is:

  1. Have adequate capital to purchase at least one car and its subsequent improvement.
  2. Understand cars or find a knowledgeable friend.

If we consider the resale of vehicles without generalizations, we can distinguish three stages:

Organizing a car business

  • Stage 1 – buying a car. When implementing it, it is important to purchase a car at the lowest price. To achieve such a goal, you should identify all sorts of shortcomings of the purchase object and negotiate properly. Naturally, you cannot do without knowledge of cars and the nuances of their operation, registration with authorized government agencies.
  • Stage 2 – elimination of all or almost all shortcomings of the purchased vehicle. This also cannot be done without financial investments. There is only one task at the improvement stage - to make the existing car the most presentable and interesting product for potential buyers. The better and more extensively the machine is improved, the more money will be gained from it. You shouldn't forget about this.
  • Stage 3 – selling the car. Perhaps the most pleasant aspect of any outbid business. The sale of already improved transport should be carried out with a competent and adequate markup to its original cost. As a result, the profit should be traced specifically to the repurchase, which could not have been mentioned.

Activity in the direction of resale of vehicles is one of the most profitable and simple types of business. You don't need much to be successful as a reseller. All you need is knowledge of the automotive industry and proper market analysis.

Taking into account all the nuances of vehicle resale and implementing it wisely, you can count on a very decent profit in a short time. This state of affairs is not fiction, it is confirmed by practice and is completely natural.

Search for buyers

When everything is ready for work, the first car has been purchased, you need to start searching for potential buyers. There are no specific tips on where exactly it is best to look for them. The right thing to do here is to use all the resources available to you. Gradually, when you become a more experienced and sought-after specialist, it will be much easier to find clients. For a beginner, it is recommended to start:

  • from specialized sites;
  • ad sites;
  • automobile forums;
  • local print media;
  • car markets, etc.

Once you find a potential buyer, you need to take him into circulation. And here it is important to be extremely careful and careful. The reseller’s task is to interest him in his offer, and not to impose. You have practically done your job if, after a telephone conversation, the client decides to look at the car. This is where the pre-sale preparation procedure begins. You shouldn’t polish your car excessively, as this will raise suspicions. It’s much better when the car is clean and well-groomed, but a little covered in dust. This creates the effect as if you regularly use the car, and do not keep it under three locks and do not polish it every day, just to give and maintain its presentation. Be sure to offer to test the car, get behind the wheel, look under the hood, and try out all the systems. That is, show that you have nothing to hide, the car is in good condition, and you should take it.

We’ll touch up here, we’ll add oil there: how resellers prepare a car for sale

Pre-sale preparation or deception?

Of course, honest car owners and sellers can also do pre-sale preparation.
But usually it is minimal: a comprehensive wash, or at best, dry cleaning of the interior. Sometimes they can even wash the engine and polish the body. But this rarely happens. They are usually sold in the most working condition: with crumbs on the carpets and debris in the door pockets. There is nothing to say here - a clean car always looks better (unless, of course, it is rusty), so the desire to show off the product is completely justified. Preparing a car for sale should not scare a potential buyer. It’s another matter when all this preparation is carried out with the aim of committing a major deception.

Here the question arises: how to recognize it and not confuse it with an ordinary honest “pre-sale”? It's actually not that difficult. Resellers have a kind of list of what needs to be done with the car before selling it. And if this list has been followed too closely, there is a good chance that the seller is trying to hide something.

First of all, of course, they hide the mileage. Most of the tricks of resellers and scammers are aimed precisely at this. The second reason for careful preparation is an attempt to hide existing defects. A shiny car often makes you want to buy it without doing a thorough inspection. And dishonest sellers know this. Let's see how resellers prepare cars and what you need to pay attention to. Let's start with the body.

Body

First we look at the hardware. Local touch-up is usually not alarming - caring owners themselves often remove traces of use. But we must carefully look at how it is done. Resellers often do this very carelessly, leaving traces of paint where it shouldn’t be: on headlights, on tires, on door seals. If there is paint there, the car was definitely being prepared for sale, and the car itself has most likely seen too much to be worth buying.

Now let's look at the fender liners. If they are too fresh, generic and bought at Auchan, this is a bad sign. They are easy and inexpensive to replace, and resellers take advantage of this.

Another telling detail is the alloy wheels. They are treated differently. Ideally, they should just be clean. Sometimes they are not washed on purpose: scratches, peeling varnish and other defects are not so noticeable. This is bad, but it’s worse when the wheels are covered in abrasions and scratches, but shine with new varnish. Washing, polishing and painting is a classic folk pastime of resellers. Discs have their own restoration procedure, but it is quite complicated and expensive for resellers, so it is rarely used. But it’s normal to touch up the “wrinkles.”

The next thing the reseller will definitely work with is the headlights. He will definitely polish them. And not because of their inner perfectionism, but because many detailers offer headlight polishing as a gift when polishing the body. Well, if they don’t offer it, then you can do it for pennies and do it yourself. Too “new” headlights on a ten-year-old car are a reason to inspect it more carefully.

By the way, about polishing. Resellers don’t bother with all sorts of nano-coatings and liquid glass - it’s expensive. But good old wax is a must. And since resellers often do this themselves and do not do it very carefully, you can look for traces of wax in all the cracks. Car owners rarely polish them before showing them, and resellers thus try to mask traces of repainting.

And finally, the last thing is everything black that is on the outside of the car. An ordinary owner will not blacken the wheels before selling; a reseller will almost certainly do this. And the most important thing is the matte black spray paint. They paint everything with it: from wiper blades to plastic parts, which become whitish over time, and no amount of polishing can save them. Wiper arms are often painted only to hide the rust - just by lightly sanding them. In principle, there is nothing wrong with this, but in a month they will be rusty again. In a word, pay attention to all the black details: suspiciously fresh roof rails, plastic grilles, moldings, door handles should be alarming.

Salon

Everyone has long known very well which interior elements give out mileage in the first place. This is the steering wheel and pedals. You can re-glue the rubber pads on the pedals or put something a la “sports aluminum”. And with the steering wheel it’s even simpler: they just paint it. Regular leather paint, such as shoe paint. It lasts for a few weeks, and they usually manage to sell the car faster. True, then the new owner cannot understand why the steering wheel gets his hands so dirty, but that’s his problem. It is not difficult to identify a repainted steering wheel: just wipe it with a damp cloth. If it suddenly turns black, the leather steering wheel is painted.

To be fair, I note that it is possible to repaint the steering wheel with high quality. But it’s not that cheap – a good repainting is quite comparable in cost to reupholstery. It’s not a shame to do it for yourself, but resellers don’t like to spend money.

Of course, they try to remove scratches from the plastic, but it doesn’t always work. The plastic is also polished, but it’s difficult to change anything radically here.

But leather seats are something that a reseller will definitely refresh in an expensive car. In the worst case, use the same paint (especially light skin). If your skin seems to be sticky, there is reason to think about it. You can dye leather, but again, painting it well is expensive. And a normal owner himself will be happy to tell you that he spent a decent amount on maintaining the car. The reseller will not do this.

We have already talked about what else to see in the salon. To this I will add one remark: look at the edges of the seat belts. If they look like fringe, and the steering wheel, seats and plastics shine, then the car’s mileage is clearly not 50 thousand kilometers. Restored belts are practically never found (except that I once saw a pathetic attempt to burn the fringe with a lighter), and they are rarely replaced - most of them are on modern cars with pretensioner squibs and resellers do not want to deal with them.

It's worth taking a good look at the spare wheel in the trunk (if there is one). For some reason resellers like to wash it and blacken it. Like, it's new and has never been used. This makes it possible to hint at the low mileage and virginity of the car. In general, another dust in the eyes.

And just in case, take another look at the pedal pads and rubber mats. They may appear new after blackening, but have some relief wear. On blackened tires this wear is not noticeable (they look too new), but it is there.

What if you sell it yourself?

In principle, almost everything said can be used when selling your own car. Pre-sale preparation always increases revenue. It is clear that replacing a cracked windshield with a Chinese equivalent and re-upholstering leather seats is only possible on expensive cars. Budget ones will only cost you dry cleaning and polishing. The main thing is not to overdo it. Before selling a car, it should look like a well-groomed young lady, and not a prostitute.

It is very important to hide the fact that the car was intensively prepared for sale. There should not be any chemical smell - this will scare off potential buyers. No polish residue or holograms, no fresh touch-ups, no overlays or inserts that are too new. The car should look natural.

An important issue is engine washing. Outbids go in two ways: either they wash everything completely at the sink, or they wash only the top. In both cases, the motor looks unnatural. And it’s not always clear whether something is flowing from it or not. This also discourages purchases. So it's best to just keep it clean. A certain amount of dust from the road is quite acceptable - you are selling a living car, not a museum exhibit. The main thing is that it is not washed immediately before sale.

Don't get carried away with touch-up paint. Freshly painted elements are often visible even without a thickness gauge, and this is also intimidating. And if a small dent or scratch has been repaired on the car, it is better to take a photograph of it before the repair and post the photo in the advertisement for sale. This way you can remove buyers’ suspicions about serious body repairs.

Well, one last thing. I once wanted to sell my car, but after polishing I changed my mind. It turns out it still looks pretty good. And after dry cleaning, I practically fell in love with her again. So it is better to always maintain a well-groomed appearance. You see, you don’t even want to sell. In addition, in the case of a motor, cleanliness will also extend its life. And that's good too.

Useful tips

Finally, we will give some recommendations to those who are taking their first steps in the world of the vehicle resale business. Everyone is initially interested in how much money per month you can earn here and how much experienced dealers earn from reselling cars. You can voice a variety of numbers. But real income depends only on yourself. There is no need to create illusions that after just a couple of months of work, clients will come to you on their own, and profitable offers will begin to pour in one after another. Remember that this is a very saturated market with many of your potential competitors operating. Therefore, it is important to rely on the following tips:

  • make the most of your knowledge;
  • develop and improve;
  • thoroughly study the car you are selling;
  • do not bring the car to a state of perfect shine, since the car should create the feeling of a workhorse, and not a showpiece;
  • leave a margin for bargaining when determining the cost;
  • always remember that sellers are ready to bargain and include a certain amount in the initial price tag;
  • never take a car without checking it for hidden defects;
  • try to eliminate existing faults efficiently, but at minimal cost;
  • always check cars for arrest and other sanctions.

Having received the first car at your disposal for subsequent resale, train yourself to immediately write down all expenses and compare them with potential profit. Before you send your car for repairs or buy any spare parts, make sure that the restoration procedure will not take away your real income. Many people are too actively trying to make the car look marketable, as a result of which they invest more into it than necessary. At best, such resale is zero.
