The fuse on cars before restyling is located in the interior unit under a removable cover on the end of the instrument panel on the driver's side. The 15 A insert is installed in the 5th position from left to right in the 2nd row.
After restyling, a distribution box of a different configuration began to be used. The insert is located in the 3rd position on the left in the 3rd row of fuses (rated 15 A).

Regardless of the date of assembly, the plant uses a knife-type insert, which is removed from the mounting socket using plastic pliers placed on the cover of the junction box. To check the condition of the jumper, the case is made of transparent plastic.

It is allowed to install a fuse with a rating of 15 A. The use of temporary homemade wire jumpers or inserts with increased operating parameters is prohibited. An increase in current strength in the circuit beyond the permissible limit leads to destruction of insulation, short circuit and fire.

Open circuit on the switch

If a break in the black or red cables is detected (they supply power to the signal when you press the button), you must:

Take the cable to the side, and then carefully cut off the insulator 3-4 mm long.
Turn the plastic core through which the wires are threaded counterclockwise.
Remove the remaining cord from the core.
Pass the stripped wire through the plastic rotating element, and then solder the tip to the terminal using rosin and tin-lead solder.
Reinstall the switch and mount the removed steering column covers.
Check the functionality of the horn.

Since standard wires are not very durable, owners install elastic cables with a fluoroplastic insulator that is resistant to temperature changes. To carry out repairs, you need to unsolder the fog light control cords, and then pass 2 new wires (for example, MGTF type) 50-70 mm long through the core. After stripping, cover the core with a layer of solder and connect it to the contacts.

To hold the MGTF cord in the guide cutouts, you need to wind insulating tape or put on a piece of insulator from standard wires.
