Do not use sharp objects to open the key; this will damage the lock.

When the car stops opening remotely, it’s most likely the battery. You can predict this like this: when you don’t drive a car for several days, you immediately cannot open the door remotely. After mechanical opening and a short drive (the key has charged a little), the key starts working again. But if even after recharging the battery your car does not open, then most likely the battery needs to be replaced. (it also happens that the key gets untied, but this happens rarely)
What's the downside, you ask? Replaced the battery and continue using it... There is a caveat: to remove the battery, we need to open the key, which is sealed in the original.
Solution: of course, you can cut the key carefully, but people don’t always succeed; it’s also extremely difficult to assemble the key without gaps and re-glue it. But you can buy a new housing (bottom part) of the key and move the internals (electronics) into the new housing. Next, we buy a battery marked CR2032, resolder the contacts, transfer it to a new case and assemble it. If desired, you can add a couple of drops of glue to better fix the case. That's it, you can forget about the problem of discharging the battery in the key for about 3 years.
