UAZ Patriot power relays and fuses are designed to protect attachments and units from overloads and damage from short circuit currents. In total, two main modules are installed on the machine. The first is in the cabin, the second is under the hood of the car. In the 2011 – 2021 models, pickup and station wagon versions, the location and purpose of the elements is significantly different. The reason is that cars of different model years and trim levels have different wiring. For example, the latest versions with interior air conditioning are very different in content from simple variations, where only a stove and a minimum of additional equipment are mounted.
As a result, the cost of a finished car in different trim levels differs a lot.
Fuse box in the passenger compartment
The module contains most of the elements.
The inserts responsible for the stable operation of the power plant, auxiliary equipment, and lighting devices are concentrated here. To gain access to the panel, you will need to go down to a special cover on the left side of the dashboard. Next, the latch is turned and the outer part is removed. For modifications of 2006, 2009 and 2021, different mounting blocks are used.
The manufacturer modernizes the car's wiring, adds updated units, and removes modules that are no longer relevant. Location may vary significantly. To accurately determine the variety, you will need to find out the year of manufacture of the car.
Block under the hood
To access the shield you will need to find a black plastic box on the left mudguard.
Next, the lid latches snap off and access to the contents opens. The engine compartment block differs in design and purpose. Power fuses and relay switches responsible for the main car systems are mainly used here. Most of the inserts are designed to protect the electronic systems of the installation, transmission and chassis of the vehicle.
Engine compartment blocks may differ in design. Two panel options are mounted here. Both types can be installed in car versions from 2010 to 2016.
The appearance of the module does not change, the only difference is in the content. You can understand what specific type of block is installed using the diagram on the inside of the protective cover.
Purpose
The main task of fuses is the proper operation of all electrical circuits, and in the event of overloads or short circuits, the fuse in them burns out. As a result of a burnout, any electrical system in the car stops working. To eliminate the malfunction, the first thing you need to do is check the condition of the fuse link, which is located in the control unit (control unit). In addition to these parts, the UAZ Patriot SUV has relays that, in the event of changes in electrical and non-electrical quantities, close or open certain sections of electrical circuits.

UAZ Patriot starter fuse and relay: where is it located?
On engines 409 and other variations of the Iveco type, they are installed under the hood in positions F7 and K1. The situation does not change depending on the year of manufacture. In versions 2008, 2012 and 2021, the positions of the elements will remain unchanged. The solenoid relay is installed as standard for all cars - in the starter housing.
Heater relay and fuse
For different vehicle modifications, the heater system inserts are mounted in different places.
Approximate year of manufacture | Fuse No. | Relay |
2007 | 9 or 18 | Installed under the dashboard |
2014 | 15 | 6 |
2016 | 9 | 5 |
If the insert constantly burns out, you should check the corresponding resistor and motor wiring.
Heater pump fuse
Such an installation is used only in conjunction with an internal combustion engine type ZMZ 40905 and is mounted in the passenger compartment at position K4.
Where is the fuel pump fuse located?
The fuel pump insert can only be found under number F6 in the engine compartment. Depending on the modification of the panel, the relay is placed in positions 6 or 7.
This arrangement is relevant for the injector, regardless of the model of the power plant.
Generator voltage regulator relay
In car-mounted installation systems, a built-in, three-level voltage regulator is used. Replacement of the device is carried out only by completely disassembling the main part.
Patriot cornering fuse: where is it located?
Controlled through insert F 16. Relays can be installed in positions K3 or 8.
Windscreen wipers
The fuse is often associated with the windshield washer system. Depending on the configuration, it can be mounted on one of the positions 9/15 in the cabin. The switch is installed under numbers 2, 8 and 9.
Where is the wiper relay located?
The information is listed above.
Cigarette lighter fuse
Installed in the cabin. Depending on the configuration, the corresponding fuse link can be mounted under number F10 or 12. Also, certain users can change the design of the machine by moving the cigarette lighter or installing an additional element in the cabin.
Dimensions
Depending on the configuration, fuses for the left and right sides can be mounted under numbers 1/11, 1/2 or 23/24.
Low beam
Installed in positions: Ф3, 4/ 21, 22/ 2, 12.
The corresponding relay switches are mounted under the numbers: 4/4, 5. All structural parts are installed in the interior block.
Signal
The situation is similar with brake lights. There are three options for the design of fuse links - these are No. 17, 19, 5.
Alarm fuse
Installed in various places. Here are inserts 7, 13 and 11. The relays are mounted on sockets K 3 and 4.
Fuse for radio
The standard audio system is mounted through insert 17 installed in the car interior. The line is routed individually directly from the battery. The fuse is mounted separately from the mounting panel.
Patriot main relay: where is it located?
On the version, gasoline and diesel are mounted on the left mudguard in the engine compartment. You can recognize the device by the wiring that goes to the motor.
Interior lighting
Connected to fuse F5 installed in the passenger compartment.
Instrument lighting
The fuse is installed in different places. The most common positions are 19, 15 and 5.
Heated windshield relay
The connection diagram is designed so that the heater relay is also responsible for the stove. In models with electric heating, the relay is installed under the instrument panel.
Seat heating
The relay on the car is also responsible for the cigarette lighter. Here it is number 12. In some versions, the insert is mounted under the driver's seat.
ABS
In machines with a standard system, the working areas are divided into three independent compartments. The power supply to the control device passes through insert No. 4, the voltage supply to the sensors comes from element 10, and the meter is connected to No. 18.
Reverse
On cars with a 5-speed gearbox and other variations, the power system is supplied through inserts 10, 19 or 15.
Charger
The system is designed similarly. The battery charge control relay is installed on the generator set. The brains of the device are connected to the ECU.
Glow plug relay
The ZMZ 51432 engine has a separate block. The module is located separately from the main inserts and is installed on the right mudguard. The glow relay is mounted in module number 2.
central locking
The control module is present in only one version of the car, number 15.
Window lifters
The system is made through inserts 11, 14 or 5. Switches act as relays.
Relay KMPSUD Patriot: what it is responsible for
The specified module is installed on injection or diesel engines to ensure the functionality of fuel injectors.
Patriot: headlight relay
The fog lights are powered by switches 8 and 5, depending on the configuration. The left and right headlights are powered variably from inserts 4/1 or 5/2/3.
Front axle fuse
The device is mounted in the transfer case module line. The element can be found under the panel trim.
Cooling fan relay
Mounts in positions 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9. Refer to your specific vehicle's owner's manual for the exact location.
Immobilizer fuse
The system is powered through an individual power supply line. This is necessary to ensure the device is protected from unauthorized hacking. The fuse is located inside the module or routed to the main line.
DRL
Installed via insert 1 and 11 for the left and right sides of the car.
Where to look for a node
It should be noted that in order to find the main fuse block on the UAZ Patriot, you do not need to go under the hood . In a domestic SUV, the device is located inside the cabin, next to the driver’s left knee.

There you will see a cover behind which the element is located. Removing the cover is quite easy - you just need to turn the lock to the side.
There is also one more mounting block. It is located under the hood, on the left side of the mudguards. The lid here opens in the same way as in the interior unit.
