First of all, you need to find at least an approximate diagram of the car. Then it is necessary to determine the color of the twisted conductors or find it by examining the electrical wiring. The twist will look like two wires of different colors twisted together.

p, blockquote 35,0,0,0,0 —>

p, blockquote 36,0,0,0,0 —>

Then you should measure the resistance between the twisted conductors using a multimeter. To do this, they need to be cleaned (it is better to pierce them with a sharp needle). The resistance should be from several tens to a couple of hundred Ohms. If the resistance is close to zero, there is a short circuit in the circuit or some control unit is faulty. Very often the culprit is the ABS unit. You can turn it off, then clear the errors again and diagnose the car.

Often, after removing errors (not eliminating them), error U1900 disappears for a while, then appears again. This is a sign of poor contact.

p, blockquote 38,0,0,0,0 —>

In this case, you should disconnect the battery. Then you need to disconnect all the connectors of the blocks to which the CAN bus is suitable, treat them with a special compound (you can use silicone spray), connect the contacts again, and put on the battery terminals. At the service station, an oscilloscope is used to monitor the signal transmitted over the bus.

The penultimate stage of repair work is a visual inspection of all harnesses where the CAN bus passes. There may be broken wires or corroded wiring.

At the last stage, all units are turned off one by one and computer diagnostics are carried out. If the error disappears, the cause of the malfunction should be sought in this block.

Error U1900 is a time bomb. Its consequences do not appear immediately; you can travel with it for a very long time. This error may cause the car alarm to trigger abnormally. At one inopportune moment, U1900 can lead to more serious consequences - so it is recommended not to postpone solving this problem until “later”.

What could be the consequence of error U1900:

p, blockquote 20,0,0,0,0 —>

  • incorrect readings on the dashboard;
  • malfunctions of the security system;
  • ABS malfunction;
  • increased fuel consumption, etc.

You should not constantly drive with error U1900. First of all, it's inconvenient. Secondly, if another error occurs, it is unknown how the car will behave. It can stall at the most inopportune moment. Error U1900 can block computer diagnostics (it is also carried out via the CAN bus). Then the repair will need to be done blindly.

Error code U1900 on the scanner screen
No one, perhaps, needs to be told that all electronic modules, sensors and systems of the second Focus communicate with each other using a specific protocol. A high-speed data exchange system between modules and nodes is provided by CAN buses. Any malfunction or loss of data by the system is immediately displayed in the form of a Check Engine message and is duplicated and recorded in the ECU memory as an error code. These errors can then be read by a scanner or diagnostic computer. There is a certain list of errors that relate to the system of information exchange between modules, here it is in abbreviated form:

  • IC U1900-60, CAN Communication Bus Fault, indicates a data reception error caused by poor contact in the bus and this error for Ford Focus 2 is the most common;
  • IC U2200-20, malfunctions of the odometer are accompanied by exactly this message;
  • IC U2510-20 reports an immediate interruption in the flow of information in the CAN bus itself;
  • U0001-E1 - damage to the high-speed section of the data transmission line.

As you can see, any of these errors can cause a lot of trouble if you do not fix it in time.

The main symptoms of error IC U1900-60

The symptoms of these malfunctions are unpleasant, and their occurrence does not depend in any way on the year of manufacture, configuration, or engine type:

  • The instrument panel is glitchy, all warning lamps light up at the same time;
  • The tachometer needle suddenly drops to zero, twitches, and incorrectly displays the number of revolutions;
  • the speedometer needle drops to zero;
  • the odometer does not count mileage;
  • the engine continues to run, but a message appears on the display indicating that the acceleration rate has been reduced;
  • the coolant temperature rises;
  • The Check Engine light comes on periodically.

Code u1900 on diagnostics.

When scanning for errors, the computer displays one of the errors listed above, which means that it’s time to fix the IC U1900-60 error yourself if the machine is no longer under warranty. At the dealership, they will charge a decent amount for work and diagnostics, and they will also force you to replace the spark plugs, electronic accelerator pedal, fuel pump module, in short, they will push the stale product at a higher price. Therefore, we will figure it out ourselves.

Why error p0130 is dangerous and how to fix it

Errors that are diagnosed by mobile scanners and computers, one way or another, indicate a problem in the engine control system. And these errors are not always duplicated by the Check Engine icon. In the case of the common error u1900, the check light comes on extremely rarely and most Ford Focus 2 owners are surprised to discover this error code only when scanning.

Error u1900, reasons for appearing on Ford Focus 2

No one, perhaps, needs to be told that all electronic modules, sensors and systems of the second Focus communicate with each other using a certain protocol. A high-speed data exchange system between modules and nodes is provided by CAN buses. How does error U1900 appear on Focus?

The difficulty is that this code may not manifest itself for a long time, but at a certain moment it will fire, which will lead to failure of the electronics in one form or another. We understand perfectly well that if the flow of information fails (and the scanner does not specify which one), any device and any system can be disabled. In the best case, this will be a scanner connector that reads errors, in the worst - an alarm system, a power system, a catalyst, in a word, anything.

Among the obvious symptoms that cannot be ignored, the following dirty tricks may appear:

Since all the second Focuses have already passed the warranty mileage, you will have to fix the U1900 error yourself or pay the dealership. We will always make it there and, as a rule, the dealer, like in a bad clinic, will find a whole bunch of other faults in our Ford, but there is no guarantee that the U1900 error will be reset. Therefore, in order not to pay extra, we will try to solve the problem ourselves.

Diagnostics, error reset and removal of consequences of U1900

In principle, you can do something that is not entirely correct and simply erase the mistake from your memory. Out of sight, out of mind. This can be easily done using the same ELM 327 scanner, even on the go. This just won't solve the problem. The only effective method is a thorough inspection of all CAN bus contacts and possible soldering of the board.

In 90% of cases, the problem lies in the contacts that are located on the dashboard board. To get to them, you need to completely disassemble it and free the board for soldering. Removing the dashboard on the second Focus is not difficult; to do this, simply lower the steering column, remove the plastic covers, unscrew two screws and remove the device, having first disconnected the terminal block.

After disassembling the instrument panel and carefully removing the arrows, we get access to the printed circuit board, which needs to be soldered in the place that we indicated in the photo above. For soldering, you must use either a soldering station or a low-power soldering iron with a power of no more than 20-25 W.

In principle, the most serious errors that can affect engine operation are duplicated by the Check Engine warning lamp, and disassembling the dashboard in order to solder and reset the CAN Communication Bus Fault error does not always make sense. At least we know what the U1900 error code means and what to do to fix it.

The advantages of PowerShift automatic transmissions include reduced fuel consumption and improved vehicle dynamics.

Ford Powershift transmission - operating principle

The design of this gearbox is an assembly of dual parallel manual gearboxes that operate independently of each other.

While driving, one part of the clutch engages even-numbered gears, and the other is responsible for engaging odd-numbered gears. This ensures that power loss is avoided, which increases the safety of operating a vehicle with an automatic transmission.

THIS IS INTERESTING: Where is the heater radiator located?

It has been established that thanks to the use of PowerShift automatic transmissions, it is possible to reduce fuel consumption by 8%.

Power Shift gearbox diagram

What cars can Powershift be installed on?

This modification of preselective gearboxes is installed on Ford vehicles. PowerShift is structurally related to gearboxes with a wet clutch, as well as dry ones. This has a positive effect on the reliability and trouble-free operation of the gearbox.

At the same time, it is necessary to remember that the oil must be changed regularly (regarding wet boxes). If the car owner neglects the oil change procedure, problems may arise with cooling and lubrication of a large number of moving parts.

We perform high-quality repairs of Powershift Ford Focus 3 in Moscow; accurate diagnostics and more than 6 years of experience in servicing robotic gearboxes allow us to complete the work in the shortest possible time.

The Powershift gearbox is compact and can be installed on a variety of vehicles

Due to its compact size, the PowerShift automatic transmission can be installed with equal success in both the powerful Mondeo sedan and compact Ford Focus cars. Automatic transmission can be used with a longitudinal or transverse engine arrangement. This allows you to significantly expand the number of Ford and Volvo car models on which this transmission modification is installed.

Automatic transmission powershift control

Ford Powershift transmission is controlled entirely electronically. Built-in automatic systems monitor oil pressure, oil temperature and rotation speed of internal shafts and couplings. The computer brain (mechatronics) correlates engine speed and vehicle speed. The electronics makes the decision to change gears and does it as quickly as possible.

The gear change occurs in a split second and is completely invisible to the driver. There are completely no power interruptions, which increases safety when overtaking and other high-speed maneuvers. PowerShift transmissions have a manual shift function, which allows you to change gears at the request of the car owner.

Note that some modifications of gearboxes involve the installation of special steering column switches on the steering wheel, allowing the car owner to change gears without the automatic transmission selector lever.

How does Powershift automatic transmission work?

In Drive mode, the automatic transmission changes gears when the engine speed reaches 2500 - 3000 rpm. It is possible to enable a sports mode, in which the gearbox allows you to spin the engine to 5000 - 6000 rpm. At the same time, a special system is activated, which allows, even when manual gear shifting is activated, to protect the engine from prolonged operation at high speeds.

In this case, the gearbox will not allow car owners to independently engage a lower gear, in which the engine will operate at its maximum performance. This ensures the longevity of both the transmission itself and the car engine. There is also a built-in oil temperature sensor, which not only determines the temperature of the lubricant, but also analyzes the quality of lubricating compounds.

If necessary, the automation warns the car owner about existing problems with the transmission.

Reviews about the PowerShift gearbox

Feedback from car owners about the PowerShift gearbox is generally positive, but it is necessary to take into account the fact that this automatic gearbox has a much more complex design than classic automatic and manual ones. It is not surprising that such a complicated design led to deterioration in reliability indicators.

The problem area of the box is the coupling and shafts, which operate under high load conditions. If the car owner does not regularly change the oil or uses low-quality lubricants, this invariably leads to rapid failure of the moving elements of the gearbox.

It is also not uncommon for control electronics to fail, which are extremely critical to overheating. Ford Focus PowerShift gearbox should be performed exclusively in service centers and authorized workshops.

The specialists of such service centers have special equipment, which allows them to easily identify the existing problem in the gearbox and fix it as quickly as possible.

Powershift problems - what can you encounter?

In most cases, due to improper operation of the gearbox and lack of proper maintenance, problems arise with PowerShift .

That is why, when operating this modification of gearboxes, it is recommended to carry out all necessary transmission service procedures.

It is also necessary to warm up the gearbox in the winter, which will improve its lubrication and extend the trouble-free life of the automatic transmission. Our company has been repairing PowerShift for more than 7 years, if you require quality service, please contact us.

PowerShift box failure

Problems with the PowerShift transmission can also occur with an active and aggressive driving style. According to reviews from experts and owners of cars with this type of automatic transmission, this transmission does not like fast driving and frequent gear changes.

How to diagnose

Complete Guide to Fix iTunes Error 23

First, turn on the ignition; do not start the engine. Hold down the button that resets the mileage. It is located on the dashboard of the car. This button must be pressed for several seconds and, continuing to hold it, move the key to the next position.

If you do everything correctly, “Test” will appear on the display.

As a result of such self-diagnosis, the computer will issue cipher codes that indicate certain breakdowns. Experts say it's not recommended to expect ultra-accurate results, but the test can be useful in many situations. If the machine is not working as it should, the first thing you need to do is diagnose it yourself.

Diagnostic features

Almost any service station offers to diagnose your car for faults.
The cost depends on the specific region. If you don’t want to spend money, then you can diagnose the Ford Focus 2 yourself. Since the on-board computer monitors the condition of the car, you just need to read the error and decipher it. To do this you need to perform certain actions. So, self-diagnosis of Ford Focus 2 is performed according to the following scenario:

  • sit in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition (there is no need to start the engine);
  • the dashboard has a special button (it resets the on-board computer), which must be pressed and held for 3 to 5 seconds;
  • While continuing to hold the button, move the key to the second position in the lock;
  • After this, an icon indicating that diagnostics are in progress should appear on the dashboard - Test.

So, by reading the error code and deciphering it, you can understand the cause of the malfunction and eliminate it.

It should be noted that when a diagnostic icon appears on the Ford Focus two dashboard, the on-board computer reset button no longer needs to be held. If you continue to press this button in test mode, the diagnostics will be automatically disabled. What to do next if this happens? It is necessary to move the key to the extreme position and start the car engine. When the starter stops working, the diagnostic icon will appear on the on-board computer screen again and the diagnostic will continue.

Turning off diagnostic mode is very simple. You need to turn off the engine, turn off the ignition and press the same button again for a few seconds. You can understand that something is wrong with the car using the on-board computer. The occurrence of a malfunction is usually accompanied by the appearance of the standard Check Engine icon on the screen.

Remember that it is always better to have serious car problems resolved by professionals, since self-diagnosis helps in cases of minor breakdowns. Moreover, the lack of special equipment to read errors can lead to incorrect information. For example, if the on-board computer does not work correctly, the information provided will be incorrect.

How is error U1900 deciphered?

In English, according to the decoding of errors using the OBD2 protocol, the name of the error is “Communication BUS FAULT” - this translates as “Communication error via CAN bus”. To understand where the cause of such an error is located, you need to know what a CAN bus is in a car and what it is intended for.

Most experienced personal computer users have an understanding of the local network. It is designed to unite user computers in an office (in production, at home, etc.) for the purpose of exchanging information.

For example, in a large store, all cash register terminals, accounting, and database computers are combined into a single network in order to control warehouses, accounting operations, receipt of funds, etc. in real time. If there is a communication failure in the store over the local network, in principle, no warehouse , nor the accounting department will stop (they can continue to work), but their interaction will be disrupted. There will be no information about warehouse balances or receipt of funds. Store management will be disrupted.

The exchange of information in a car is organized in the same way. The fact is that most car systems are now controlled by separate microprocessors (as part of control units). They are connected to each other via a CAN bus. Data, for example, about the speed of the car, the ABS unit and the instrument panel do not receive via a separate wire, but as part of a streaming digital signal transmitted via the CAN bus. This is how information is exchanged throughout the car.

The transfer principle was introduced in the last century. In this case, symmetrical “twisting” is used (two wires twisted into a single bundle). Despite its simplicity, such a system showed excellent results in terms of data transfer speed and noise immunity. Schematically, the CAN bus can be depicted as follows.

If the CAN bus is broken in some place, or even worse, short-circuited, then the exchange of information on the bus will be disrupted. In this case, the dashboard may not see messages about vehicle speed, coolant temperature, engine speed, the security system may not see data about the status of the doors, and so on.

A U1900 diagnostic device message indicates that communication has failed. The error is silent about what may be a consequence of this violation. From this point of view, the error is very difficult to correct. It is unknown where to look for the reason, because the CAN bus follows almost all vehicle systems.

Auto electricians mainly use their experience, advice from colleagues, go through all the blocks, starting from the main assembly, then the dashboard, engine control unit, ABS and further according to the diagram.

Hi all.

I'm interested in the issue of displaying error U1900 for the FF2 Restyle car.

Background from the owner - after washing the engine compartment, the car began to stall while driving.

Error U1900 indicates a channel communication error.

In the engine, error P1260 indicates that the car has been stolen.

When the car stalls, the engine ECU does not communicate. But the shield and the abs are in touch (It seems like they are hanging on the same line or am I mistaken??) But if you wait a little, the ECU is in touch again and the car starts again.

Now the main question is to dig towards CAN or power supply??

Car diagnostics

Technologies do not stand still and now it is much easier to find out about the appearance of certain faults in relatively new cars. If there is a problem with your Ford vehicle, you can find out about it by looking at the error code on the on-board computer. To find out about the error, you can go to a specialized service station, where technicians, using special equipment, will diagnose your Ford and tell you exactly what’s wrong with it.

Ford Focus 2

However, such a procedure in a financial crisis is not so cheap, and not every motorist can afford it. What to do in such cases? The answer is simple - you can find out about the malfunction yourself by performing independent diagnostics of the vehicle. To do this, use the instructions prepared by the specialists of our resource.

  1. So, we carry out independent diagnostics of on-board computers of Ford cars at home.
  2. To begin, sit in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition. There is no need to start the car.
  3. Find the daily mileage reset button on the dashboard. Press it and hold it for a few seconds.
  4. Without releasing the button, turn the ignition key to the second position.
  5. Watch the instrument panel: the word “Test” should appear on the odometer screen. When the message appears on the display, the reset daily mileage button can be released. Please note that if the odometer reset button is held down for more than three seconds between tests, the self-diagnosis mode will be terminated. In this case, you need to turn the key in the ignition switch to the “start” position and hold it until it starts completely. At this point, the car's starter will turn off automatically when the vehicle starts and after a few seconds the dashboard will return to self-diagnosis mode.
  6. To exit the Ford self-diagnosis mode, you must turn off the ignition and hold the odometer reset button for more than three seconds.

How to check?

There are two methods for determining fault codes and malfunctions in the operation of an “American” or “European” Ford. The Fiesta, Kuga, Escape, Ranger and Cargo models are equipped with on-board computers, which can be used to identify problems in the operation of various systems. Owners of Transit, Fusion, Mondeo, Focus restyling and pre-restyling cars are offered two methods for identifying faults. You can perform a menu test using a self-diagnosis, or perform a full test using a laptop.

Adapter with cable for computer testing

To identify breakdowns in cars of 2000, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2013 or any other year of manufacture, do the following:

  1. Sit in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition by turning the key in the lock. There is no need to start the engine.
  2. There is an odometer button on the control panel, designed to reset the mileage. Press it and hold it for a few seconds.
  3. While holding the key, turn the key in the ignition switch so that it is in position II.
  4. At this moment, you will see the inscription “Test” on the display of the control panel, after which the odometer key can be released. When performing the task, please note that by holding the button in between checks for three seconds or more, the diagnostic process will be completed. Then the testing procedure must be started again.

According to experts, this option for checking Ford S Max, Focus, Mondeo, Fusion, Transit with a gasoline or diesel engine is not effective enough. Especially when compared with testing 1.6 or 2 liter engines when connected to the OBD2 diagnostic connector. For such a check, you will need an adapter with a computer, on which you must first install a special diagnostic utility.

The verification process works like this:

  1. Locate the connector to test. It can be located under the steering wheel on the left, under the radio, behind the glove compartment, in the luggage compartment or in the engine compartment. Refer to the service manual to determine the exact location of the connector.
  2. Connect the OBD2 adapter to the plug. The adapter connects the laptop to a USB port.
  3. After connecting, turn on the ignition. There is no need to start the engine.
  4. Run the installed utility on the computer that will be used to perform the scan. In accordance with the program interface, click on the “Start scan” or “Start” button. The verification procedure will begin. The utility will contact the on-board computer, which will display all fault codes detected by the control device. Subsequently, all combinations will appear on the laptop display. Using the combinations obtained, you need to determine the problem and fix it.

Troubleshooting: P0056 on Ford Focus III. Reasons for removing

Regardless of the engine size on Ford Focus 3 cars, error P0056 can occur after 100-120 thousand km. What does the error code mean, is it safe to drive, how to reset it and what to change, we’ll figure it out together.

Causes of error P0056 on Ford Focus III

A quick search for the decoding of error code 0056 will show us that we are dealing with a malfunction of the oxygen sensor 2 bank 1. This means that the lambda probe installed after the catalyst has died. Not everything is so simple. Error

P0056 Heated Oxygen Sensor Control Circuit B1S2 means you need to pay attention to the oxygen sensor heating circuit.

Briefly about what this circuit and the second oxygen sensor itself do. The Ford Focus 3 has heated zirconium oxide oxygen sensors. Heating is needed so that the sensor starts working from the moment the engine starts.

Since the zirconium capsule begins to give readings only after heating to 300 °C, a ceramic heating element is built into the sensor, which heats it to the desired temperature immediately after starting the engine. If the first oxygen sensor, which is installed before the catalyst, is responsible for correcting the proportions of the fuel-air mixture, then the second is needed only to monitor the condition of the catalyst. It serves to check

parameter ƛ, that is, the content of excess oxygen in the exhaust gases after the catalyst.

Is it possible to drive with error P0056?

Based on this, it can be assumed that the readings of the second sensor have only a diagnostic load and

do not affect engine operation. The Check Engine light may come on and the OBD II scanner may show an error.

Deciphering error codes

Ford displays the errors found in encoded form. In order to derive practical benefit from the information, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the transcripts. Note that possible errors on the car’s on-board computer are divided into four large groups:

  • sensor errors
  • engine breakdown
  • problems in the electrical circuit
  • other problems

Below we will look at the most common types of problems detected by on-board computers. Since a modern car is literally filled with a variety of sensors designed to make life easier for the driver, they play the role of an intermediary between the mechanics and the electronic PC. If something goes wrong, a nearby sensor detects it, so the driver knows that there is a problem.

Quite often, for example, error P0420 occurs on a Ford Focus 2 after self-testing.

It means that the catalyst system has failed. But what is a catalyst and what to do if, according to error P0420, it does not work as it should? A catalyst is a device installed on a car engine to reduce the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere. It is equally relevant for both gasoline and diesel cars.

Is it inconvenient that the P0420 code does not allow you to understand what exactly happened? Like, for example, error P0620. If the driver wants to decipher the code, he will most likely receive a one-word answer - generator.

There is something wrong with the generator, most likely the output voltage does not match the parameters. The deviation at the output is what the sensor records.

Another problem detected by the on-board computer is error P2008 - the intake manifold or the electrical circuit that controls it operates intermittently.

And error P2303 most often indicates that the car’s power cable has become frayed. The name of the problem itself sounds like this: the ignition coil is not working correctly/intermittently.

Error U1900 is especially curious, since in many cases it is preceded by a message on the on-board computer screen that frightens drivers: “Driver malfunction.”

Getting seriously worried, the car enthusiast turns on the test and it turns out that everything is in order with the engine, but a problem is discovered called “no connection via the CAN bus.” Try to fix it by removing the terminals from the battery and resetting the error in auto mode.

And a few more transcripts for car enthusiasts:

  • Error U2023 - data network failure. U2023 is often fixed by changing the firmware
  • Error C1306 – Steering Wheel Angle

X9F4XXEED46B30975 in the dashboard, non-erasable U1900-60. In the dashboard parameters, there is no connection with the ABS unit. I checked the configuration, everything matches. Where can this error come from? There is communication with all the blocks present on the car.

    There are two shields, both work and both have this error. The owner came up with the problem of the shield turning off during startup. At the owner’s initiative, the shield was replaced, but the problem remained.

    the whole story. The owner complained about the car's periodic non-starting. They soldered the original shield, it didn't help. The shield was taken from disassembly and the same story with it. The key to the start shield is turned off and rebooted. An attempted theft and a malfunction of the clutch limit switch are registered in the engine, they are reset until the next start. The problem is most likely in the battery.

    I don’t understand why U1900-60 doesn’t rub

    The battery is dead, when you start cranking the voltage drops to 6 volts. This car has never had ABS.

    The error does not appear even if you do not start the engine. I checked it, everything is fine. I don’t understand why the shield is waiting for a message from the ABS.

    And the config in all blocks was checked, but it’s possible that the dump “went” with such a battery.

    There was a similar jamb - people changed the PCM block and forgot to transfer the block view, the car was working, the ABS and ESP lights were on on the dashboard, and error U1900, I manually transferred the block view, rewrote it again and everything went away. Ask the owner, has the car been altered? Maybe there's something wrong here?

    The owner replaced the battery, the problem with rebooting the panel went away. The error in the panel does not bother him, since it does not manifest itself in any way.

    The car is in the same hands from new, it didn’t work. The error hangs on both the original and the replaced dashboard.

    ARS ADACT develops firmware for chip tuning of gasoline and diesel engines. Ready-made calibrations for any task are available in the official store: more than 60 brands and 300 models, for LPG, with the transition to other Euro standards and preservation of factory ones. If there is no ready-made firmware, you can order individual calibration for any task.

    ADACT firmware can only be purchased in the store on the official website. Their distribution is protected using a SenseLock key and a user activity rating system. Any other sites offering ADACT firmware present their own unverified work as calibrations from our company.

    How to solve this problem?

    The solution, oddly enough, is quite simple and can be done by anyone who has a soldering iron and a little understanding of how soldering is done. All you need to do is solder the problem contacts, which are shown in the photo below. Before soldering the CAN bus contacts, you need to dismantle the instrument panel and disassemble it; you will now learn how to do this correctly.

    1. So let's get started. For convenience, lower the steering wheel to its lowest position.
    2. Next, we dismantle the lining behind the steering wheel and under it. Then unscrew the two screws located under the steering wheel.
    3. Then we unscrew two more screws that secure the tidy itself.
    1. Now you can try to get the dashboard; to do this, pull out the visor located above the panel and pull it towards you.
    2. Once you have the panel in your hands, turn off the power and begin the disassembly process.
    3. The front part of the instrument panel is removed by unsnapping the clips at the top and bottom.
    1. Next you need to remove the arrows, but before doing this, do not forget to mark the location of the arrows. To do this, you can use chalk or other material, which can then be easily removed without a trace. The arrows themselves are removed using a screwdriver, carefully remove the cap, and then pry the arrow in a circle at the base of the rod on which it sits.
    1. After this, you can remove the scale; it is not secured in any way, it just lies tightly in its place. Fingerprints are clearly visible on the scale, so be careful and wear gloves.
    2. Now nothing prevents us from dismantling the rear part of the dashboard, so we find the latches and carefully unlatch them, after which we take out the board we need.
    3. After the board is removed, you can begin soldering the above contacts; for this we use a miniature soldering iron (25 Watt), liquid flux and solder.
